Suspect in Tyshawn Lee's killing picked up on alleged gun offense

CHICAGO—A man picked up on an alleged gun offense was being questioned Tuesday by Chicago police detectives in connection with the slaying of 9-year-old Tyshawn Lee, law enforcement sources told the Tribune.
The same man was already questioned about Tyshawn's death at Area South police headquarters Nov. 4, the sources said. He was released without being charged at that time.

Hopefully LE is one step closer in IDing the perp who murdered TyShawn.

If they can link that weapon to TyShawn's murder, it won't be long before this POS coward is under arrest for the murder of this child.

The perp deserved whatever he gets. Murdering a child. Let's call the gang members what they are: Terrorists of the communities they live in.

I feel bad for that kid, I would have loved to help him. That ghetto culture is horrible, I bet they never solve the case because of the street code no snitching

Actually, Chicago 's murder rate is the lowest it has been since 1965. Chicago has a murder rate of 15.1 per 100,000. Detroit has a murder rate of 43.5 per 100,000. St. Louis, murder capital of America, has 49.9 murders per 100,000.

I hope law enforcement has the killers, ballistics will tell the tale. The scumbags shouldn't be allowed to walk among us. That little boy should be playing ball and looking forward to eating turkey.
