I saw this story on the news, I don't get all the recent shootings of police officers in Kentucky it used to be that those kinds of things just didn't happen there.
He's a true hero until allegations of wrong doing come out. Hopefully that's not the case. There are so many bad apples in the police force nation wide now it's become an indescribable problem,

Please read the story. Its a open and shut case. Why take it to that level. Cop shot in the dam head by a career criminal. Show some decency please!!

How about your brethren show some decency and start weeding out the bad cops. I can say I support cops till I am blue in the face, except now we have stories every day about wrong doing. Once those allegations become main stream we see upon further investigation that many of these cops have long long records of departmental violations and accusations against them for corruption and brutality.
It's not getting better either. We now have a nation of trigger happy LEO's afraid to do the job, when they do the job and get into seemingly situations that have no cause of violence they are shooting unarmed people and asking questions latter and using my life was endanger line. There is no excuse for shooting an unarmed person that poses no threat. NONE.
LEOS are now turning a blind eye to the "rotten apples" and the job at large. Now we see a good cop get killed because he was doing his job. This cop never should have died. He died in part because the criminals see what is happening they know the cops are running scared and have become more embolden to pull a gun out and start shooting, partly because they are career criminals and partly because they figure they have nothing to lose with the cops shoot first and ask questions later. You're fellow officers need to take responsibility for their actions in the mess we find ourselves in now and accept that in many ways they helped cause the issues we face.
I don't expect you to agree with any of this because you are off the job now and you feel there is some honor in defending most if not all cops actions but it will give you something to think about.
