I did not know any of this about Sweden. This is shocking, especially the conviction rate. Not okay. Blanket statement, but it seems to me European countries are much less strict than we are when sentencing. It boggles my mind sometimes.
It shouldn't. Just says the rape statistic in Sweden has a different meaning than it does elsewhere but they send people to jail on about the same basis.
Lots of data on what goes on in Sweden if you wish to look. It is a well explored issue. Often used by the far right wing to indict refugees but does not hold water.
Like all such things though I am sure that refugees to Europe do commit rape...so always an element of truth.

With all the stabbings going on in Israel I had a suspicion who might be behind it. You had to dig deep to find out who the stabber was but it was not difficult. Surprise! Ok, but why these 200,000 cut in front of the line? Don’t we have quotas or anyone who manages to storm our shores gets to come in. Looks like the biggest losers are those who follow the law. Go to the embassy, file applications and wait to be called. Now, if you are a fence jumper on the southern border you don’t have to wait. Just walk in. If you storm Europe as “refugees” in fancy Nike backpacks with fully charged batteries and functioning iPhones you get to cut in line and be flown to the US. This chaos has nothing to do with the “nation of immigrants”.
