The fact that it seemed like they were telling people already seated to move would have annoyed me and worthy of being kicked off.

Arabic-speaking men kicked off Southwest flight in Houston - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Quote:
Flight 126 was about to leave Chicago when passengers say a group of six to eight men made a fuss because they wanted to all sit together.

According to the passengers, the men were of middle eastern descent and began instructing passengers who were already seated to move.

That made some people nervous, including the pilot, who ultimately kicked them off of the plane.

We've just taken a step back to the days after 9/11 when flights resumed. The paranoia has started up again.

I'm glad they were kicked off. I get annoyed when anyone on a plane makes such a fuss over something so unimportant. Read a book for a few hours. You don't need to annoy everyone and have a long conversation with your friend the whole flight.

You want to all sit together, then pay for Southwest EarlyBird checkin, and be one of the first ones on to the plane.. Otherwise you get what ever open seat is available when you board..

A passenger can't tell another passenger to move. There's nothing wrong with asking, but telling? No way.

May be the wires were short and they needed to sit closer.

If one of them told me to move I would issue one warning to mind his manners and then send him to his 72 virgins.
