Three males, including a juvenile, were in custody after a massive manhunt
for the suspects, initially described by police to be two males. Authorities
first said the officer-- who was identified as Ricardo Galvez-- was likely
targeted, but changed the theory to a botched robbery attempt at an afternoon
press conference. Authorities do not believe Galvez was targeted.

My condolences to the family, friends and comrades of this fine officer.


This is a sure case for the DP.

I believe if any LEO is targeted and killed, anyone should be facing a DP conviction.

U.S. Marine who served two tours in Operation Enduring Freedom.

I receive national police notifications everyday... Each day in the US a police officer is killed.. Dies.. And many more are injured for life in the performance of their duties equaling or surpassing all the negative acts criminal police commit.
