Well that certainly is convenient. Not only are you able to own slave women in life but they create them in the afterlife just for you. What do the women get in the afterlife ? I never hear anyone talk about that.
Women and men get the very same things as men get, in the after life. there is no distinction between men and women in regards to the after life. All who enter heaven will be granted all they desire. the greatest gift possible to desire is to be close to Allaah(swt)
As a Muslim I wish it would receive the maximum publicity possible. those who would do such need to be made an example of and shamed for the damage they do to Islam and to innocent non-Muslims.

The thing that is so sad in situations like this, is that from the time that he committed his crime to the time that he was discovered to be the culprit, the people from that mosque had to go about their lives wondering who in their city targeted them; who decided that they weren't a part of the community; who hated them so much that they would lash out and destroy their house of faith, when they'd done nothing to him. No doubt there was sadness, and of course, anger. To some, maybe it made them feel like, yes, non-Muslims really are bad people; they really should be shunned, really should be separate. Maybe it was the first time some of the children who went to the Mosque ever felt like they were targeted for who they were. They wondered if some crazy, angry, middle-aged white guy in a pickup was going to drive by and shoot them on their way to school or burn down their house.
Outside of the immediate community, of course it stoked anger and hurt. It made a lot of Muslims in America feel insecure, it made a lot of Muslims outside of America hate America more, it outraged many, and confirmed or inflamed feelings people already had towards the US.
People who do this are scum. Instead of being happy that all of the fears about hatred towards their way of life aren't culminating in action, they decide to do something to try to incite more feelings of division, victimhood, hatred, and fear.

Some things not noted or mentioned. Was the Mosque Sunni, Wahabbi, Shi'ite, NOI,Sufi or just simply Muslim with no label? Was the alleged perpetrator a follower of any sectarian belief?
Mosques typically have no membership unless they are some deviant sectarian form.
I realize none of that is understandable to most non-Muslim and of no importance to many. but the followers of 1 or 2 sects seem to be the cause of most violence attributed to Islam.
About 80-85% Muslims are considered to be Sunni, which means they try to follow the Sunnah. Most of the remaining 15% are Shi'ite which follow Ali. Both groups do contain some sects. Sufi are generally not considered a sect but rather a Methodology. Typically they call them self Sunni. There are also non-Muslims that practice Sufi'ism How ever there are Sunni and Shi'ite that are sectarian and belong to any one of many sects that keep popping up. Muslims are not supposed to be followers of any sect, but we do have some that are.
How this all relates to this:

In your world Christians are a monolithic organization where you can blame all Christians for the acts of a small minority yet muslims are not monolithic and none can be blamed for the actions of a larger minority.
