Which of these news sources do you use (if any)?

Yahoo and Google are my daily news sources. But they direct to many other sources. I'm not sure I believe that map.

Interesting. I self identify as a Conservative, but the only news source on the Conservative side of that chart I've ever used is Fox, and then only for about 30 seconds before I moved on.

I use CNN, CBS, Buzzfeed, and Downtrend most of the time, but honestly, every news source I've ever visited on the internet puts some sort of spin on just about everything.

Not sure I believe that map, either. First, it is based on 'web respondents,' meaning the respondents took an affirmative step to participate.

Second, they included talk radio shows like Hannity and Limbaugh as 'news sources' alongside traditional media outlets. Huge internal validity issue - we're comparing apples to oranges. At the same time, they did not include far left outifits like Mother Jones, Daily Kos and Think Progress, which are of the same ilk as (but philosophically opposite to) Limbaugh and Hannity.

Third, as the good Doctor (above) points out, Yaho and Google are news aggregators. (I use Google because I read mostly middle eastern and Asian press, and Google takes me there faster.) It says nothing at all about my ideological leanings.

Fourth, look at where the average respondent falls relative to zero. By definition, the poll respondents were prone to be more liberal than not. That kinda' explains why the WSJ and Fox are the only two media outlets which fall to the right of average - and only Fox was to the right of zero on a plus 10/minus 10 scale.

This looks to me like a study that was performed - and published - to push an agenda because statistically, this is a mess.

I have been using One America News for a little over a year. It didn't make your chart.

The Drudge Report redirects you, it shouldn't even be on there.

Just make sure to have your thinking cap on when you do, and consider the source.

Default news vs. views (both definitions)

You do know that the NYT has actual reporters who go out and get the story, right? A few other traditional news sources named there still do too, to a greater or lesser extent. The rest don't do squat but aggregate or run their opinions; it's (a lot) cheaper.
