I don't like how they called it a brawl, even a one-sided brawl. He was straight up assaulted. The husband never even tried to get involved, yet he was attacked.

If I'm going to play armchair shrink....very much doubt that. In fact, judging by the dynamics and body language and language in general, seems to me the other way around. She'll probably go nuts on him instead, for not 'defending her' or some ish. It doesn't look like they have an equal and healthy relationship at all.

You know I thought of that too. No doubt she has put him in pickles before, but maybe this one time she just went to far and maybe he had enough.
I am reminded of the words from a Bob Dylan song "someone to protect you and defend you, whether you are right or wrong". Guess this fellow needs the rest ... "but it ain't me babe ... no, no, no, it ain't me babe". I guess it's a little late for that now.
Nothing better than your girlfriend/wife screaming, "My man will kick your sissy ass!!" . . . . to a guy who is 6'8", 350 pounds, 8% body fat . . . and carrying a machete and a gun. "WTF is she doing?" will be your last words.

THANKS! I'm now going to have to clean the soda off my screen after it blew out of my nose because I was laughing so hard....
In many places spitting on someone is considered assault. I probably wouldn't have hit her but she just might have ended up on her behind on the floor of the train after she was pushed. You wanted a seat? Well, you got the one you deserve!
Now where in the hell is that transit cop so I can have her busted for spewing nastiness all over???
That lady is trash & so is the guy in the worker vest. I feel bad for the boyfriend, he was totally calm throughout the whole thing & he gets punched for that.
I just broke up an argument and potential fight between a middle aged black woman and a white/latin woman yesterday evening. The train is absolutely packed and the black woman was complaining and shouting at the white woman about her elbow being pressed against her. I though to myself....."is this lady serious!" Its a packed train! The white lady turned around and told her "miss i'm sorry but the train is packed and there's nowhere for me to move. If comfort is what you want maybe you should take a taxi" LOL.
The black woman kept rambling on about how people have no manners, etc... I switched places with the other woman and whispered to her to just let it go as its not worth it to cause a scene and draw attention to yourself for something so petty. She nodded at me and said "you're absolutely right" and went about her way.
