This is becoming just so bloody tiresome. I simply cannot comprehend what al Qaeda, Daesh and the rest of these psycho-paths hope to achieve other than killing for the sake of killing. These attacks change nothing, they liberate nothing, they do nothing to change the religious or political landscape, in short they serve no purpose whatsoever. Karl Marx wrote that "terror consists mostly of useless cruelties perpetrated by frightened people in order to reassure themselves." But reassuring themselves of what?

It is a case of theology matters. Specifically it is the assumption that doing so will help spread their faith and ensure their eternal salvation. The 72 virgins hope.

These are all trial runs folks.
The enemy is practicing, refining their techniques, procedures and the like.
They start w/ easier softer targets and then move on to the more complicated targets.

These are not isolated incidents. The enemy takes these attacks and studies them carefully, learns from them, works to improve and increase desired effects. They pass information to each other, other cells or groups and push the "teachable" aspects down to each member (by whatever means, social "media" and etc) so that they can encourage follow-on attacks and attacks that have greater effect and impact.

All these attacks benefit the "cause" in general, and the more decentralized the structure of these various groups the more difficult to track and circumvent they are. Clearly some attacks take place based on very thin lines of "inspiration" ie w/o actual "orders" as such. Copy-cat terrorism if you will.

BE ADVISED!

More is coming.

I don't believe these people are afraid of anything and conquering is their mission. They don't plan to invest in a society that has hospitals, schools, businesses........unlike what Christians were able to accomplish.

It appears to be an inside job attempting to destabilize the country and result in a coup d'etat (see Mali) or an election changeover (see Nigeria).

"Burkina Faso's army has arrested a total of about 40 suspects after an armory raid last week on the outskirts of the capital Ouagadougou, a spokesman said on Tuesday."
