A listing, out-of-control cargo ship is heading for a possible grounding against the coast of France. The crew was evacuated by helicopter, but efforts to regain control of the ship and right the list have so far failed.
still, they should torpedo it for it's wicked plan to ram France if for no other reason to deter other vessels from doing the same.
In the end, they may just do that.
If they can not tow the ship into some Dry Dock Somewhere at that angle (If any Port even lets it come in).
Odds are the Salvage Company will Offload the Fuel, Tow it out off the continental shelf, and Either scuttle it in deep water, or let some navy use it for target practice to sink it.

Just for information sake, in the second story where there's a picture saying "Some of the crippled ship's infrastructure dragging in the ocean"......the ship's a Ro-Ro (roll on, roll off).....similar in design, probably, to this vessel https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roll-o..._gangplank.jpg
Mind you, I'm not saying she's carrying armor vehicles but saying that her internal design could be similar. If some of those vehicles she is reported to be carrying broke free and rolled to one side, that could cause the list.

And in 1999, a 640-foot freighter grounded and broke apart off Oregon. The 440-foot bow was towed out to sea, where a USN destroyer put 69 shells into it before it was finally finished off with a torpedo from the USS Bremerton, a Los Angeles-class attack submarine.
