Given the frequency of these events happening in the U.S., do you doubt that various state agencies have a patterned response already crafted in their database, ready to go with simply "fill in blank here" to instantly tweet their phony condolences?
One co-worker at the Excel factory in Hesston, Martin Espinoza said he was confronted by Ford, a colleague he described as normally calm. He said he pointed a gun at him and squeezed the trigger but luckily it was empty and he managed to escape. Other colleagues have described Ford, a father-of-two, as mentally unstable and said he was being teased by his workmates. However, another said 'he was the nicest guy I know' and that they had been chatting as normal when they walked in the plant to clock in before the shooting began yesterday.

No not at all. It has become boilerplate, which is pathetic and sad in such an "exceptional" country.
