Yes they did. They really deserve worse and should consider themselves lucky to be alive.

The facts of the case should determine any punishment.

This is why we have trials instead of vigilante justice.
If we legalized some vigilante justice, maybe we'd see a little less crime. It's worth a try.

Wen I go to the woods, I prepare to confront a bear or rattlesnake or mountain lion . It's their back yard .
Seems to me that if f perp breaks in, they've anticipated being confronted by the owner, and the possible repercussions.
Far as I'm concerned, the perps got off easy.

I've always daydreamed about how those burglers who broke into Kim Kardashian's room in Paris and stole her jewelry should have stripped her naked and left her tied up in the bathroom so she would have been scared straight and appreciate the less fortunate people in the world.

I certainly don't agree with vigilante justice, and I am not aware of all the facts, however there does need to be significant evidence to back up what these men are saying in the form of injuries and indeed any forensics. As a conviction based solely on the testament of these two men, who by their own admission were going to commit a burglary, is not beyond reasonable doubt.

Handcuff, ball gag em and then force them to watch the American Me gang rape scene for an hour and then send them out in their torn underwear with an inscription written on the front of their chest which says "I tried robbing a bike shop and this is all I got in return." Post to youtube.

Now wait a minute. That nasty owner was discriminating against them by waiting there with a gun. He should be punished not the two innocents who were simply burglarizing his store.
