Archibald police say 49-year-old Conrad Rudalavage had been drinking before he fell asleep, then woke up Saturday convinced that his wife was unfaithful.
Police say he attacked, choked and threatened to kill her until his teenage daughter intervened and tried to call 911. Police say he then attacked the daughter.
A little less levity, given how much value some people put in dreams, it is probably not too surprising. To say nothing of the lack of understanding of dreams it appears that people have.
Ie, for example, those reoccurring dreams that one is back in high school, the final is coming up, and they haven't studied at all? It may be that the sleeper has an actual event coming up that they aren't prepared for and the mind is handling the stress by processing an old, very familiar memory.
So what could this mean? Fear of losing something precious and if the sleeper sees dreams as a form of ESP, we-ll...................................
OF COURSE, it is no excuse but it is an explanation that could explain "why there are people like that".
so if he attacked his wife for "cheating" on him, what was his excuse for attacking the daughter? was SHE in the dream too???
She tried to stop him from beating up his wife so he turned on her.
