It certainly wasn't a smart move for him to drink prison hooch and allow himself to be tattooed in that manner.
However, it seems like he is learning that actions have consequences and was moved to do something about it.
If he doesn't get that tattoo removed, I wouldn't hire him for a job working with customers but he would be fine for the factory floor or a job in maintenance, shipping, construction, etc.

Not if every employer looked at him and instantly rejected him, which is exactly what has happened. I wouldn't hire him regardless of the job because a guy who did this just has to raise red flags. Why would I chose a candidate with such a huge question mark about his decision making or mental stability, even for the most entry level job?
Am I the only poster wondering how his brother had access to a needle and other material needed to create a tattoo with such ink coverage while in prison?
Moral of story: Make sure you have a secure skill or source of income before you get a controversial visible tattoo. A lot of chefs, bartenders, and self-employed creative types have visible tattoos but don't go looking for a sales job with them.
I would also think the content of the tattoo art makes a difference as well. Axe murderer depiction vs. say Micky Mouse riding a bike would have two totally different outlooks on employment even being identical size and location.

A mickey mouse riding a bike tattoo on someone's face is not going to get any job offers either.
A tattoo on the face, neck or hands are job killers. Unless, the person is ok with working in certain industries.
I'm sure he could be a bouncer or something? I will devast8 you if you try to get by me.
