It's not online yet, but just heard it on radio. I'll post news when it's available, or if anyone finds it sooner, post please. This brought tears to my eyes, how can a father or anyone kill their child.

This is happening more and more frequently. Of course, if I were king the murderer would be swiftly put to death in the most heinous method possible. The problem with that though is it's a little too late.
Children are no longer seen as a gift. Been that way since 1973.
FBI data shows that filicide numbers have been decreased somewhat since the 1990s, over a time span during which the United States' population has increased by about 60 million people - meaning the filicide rate has dropped significantly.
It is demonstrably not 'happening more and more frequently'.

Ah, yes - now we see the reason for your false claim. You're trying to peddle the idea that since abortion became legal, killing one's children is becoming increasingly acceptable. Except, as the data (see the link above) shows, that's not true. Nor, for that matter, was it universally legal prior to 1973. It also ignores the reality that in the past, abortion rates were far, far higher than in the post-Roe era. It is estimated that prior to the latter 19th century abortion rates in the United States (where it was legal everywhere) topped 25%. And, of course, there was no correlation between its banning in some states and any great concern for children - millions of whom were soon to be swept up in the industrial revolution to toil in textile mills and mines from early ages, often in appallingly dangerous conditions amid an utter absence of safety laws.
Infanticide has been the norm within many cultures throughout history. Child sacrifice to ancient deities and spirits was quite common during ancient times...

Just like the murder rate has fallen mightily. While I personally do not like it....abortion is a root cause in these things. P.S. This is not a political comment but rather factual.

Have you thought about becoming a foster parent? There's a lot of gifts that need claiming.
