I was going to say the same thing. I am in Northwest Arkansas and we are experiencing highs in the mid 80s and lows in the mid 60s. It's been beautiful here the past 2-3 weeks, compared to a more normal high 90s with 75% humidity.

The heat wave is pretty much over, temps between the 70s and low 80s is the norm, when it goes 85 that's when everyone starts complaining, I personally love the heat.

First 10 days of August 2017

1. 87
2. 91
3. 94
4. 91
5. 82
6. 82
7. 84
8. 89
9. 91
10. 90

First 10 days of July 2017

1. 72
2. 77
3. 70
4. 78
5. 85
6. 85
7. 72
8. 81
9. 80
10. 73

so as you can see the beginning of August has been much hotter than July.

These are the daily temps since the heat wave started (again) in central Oregon. This is not our first heat wave, just the most recent one!

We normally have a few weeks of temps above 90. This summer has been brutal - especially for those of us without air conditioners.

Yesterday the heat wave finally ended, and it looks like the next few weeks will be back to near normal temps. Mid 80s are nothing compared to the high 90s!

A friend in West Seattle emailed me today that the weather there has been in the high 60's, and gloriously clear, with a little sprinkle to help clear the air. Sounds like heaven!

Maybe at 10am in the morning

High temps yesterday in Oly were in the mid 70's. It rained Saturday night and misted into very early Sunday morning.

Temps will remain around mid/upper 70's
