A Utah health teacher has been arrested for allegedly shooting and killing her ex-husband's girlfriend in front of the former couple's twin daughters.
Police said Chelsea Watrous Cook, 32, went to her ex-husband's Salt Lake City apartment on Sunday night to give one of their three-year-old twins cold medicine.
Cook allegedly locked herself in a bathroom when her ex-husband Travis Cook asked her to leave.
The girlfriend looks almost like a twin to the ex wife.True that hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. At that moment she was in a murderous rage and thought nothing of the consequences at that time.
Just . . . wow! What was that woman thinking -- or was she insane that she did not seem to realize that shooting would ruin her life, too -- as well as having a very nasty effect on her daughters' lives, also?
Also, as I think that she is also a very physically attractive woman, I also can't help thinking that she might have more than just a touch of narcissism, too -- although prison will probably knock that out of her if that is the case.
P.S. on Edit: I just read some of the comments from the link in one of the above posts, and I do have sympathy for her students -- and maybe there is an explanation that does not tie in with what I wrote, but I just can't think of any reason serious enough for her to kill someone. It does make me wonder, though, how someone can appear to be so sane and then do something like this.
Posters on CD: "Oh yeah!! Men kill more people than women do!"
Anyone with half a brain: "Ok, that's not what this story or thread is about, would you like a cookie? Or perhaps mental counseling is in order as your grasp on reality seems to be slipping."
