Don't own pets. huh? Didn't really type into google, did you, as the two words instantaneously came back with results (even with my typo with the 'h' missing).
Sherpa I found, I thought maybe you doggy people had a special supplier for another bag.
Do they make one big enough for a pitty, as the alleged biter was identified?
You're not serious with that link, are you? Next time maybe try linking to a group that is slightly less biased, or at least knows how to hide their biases better.
No, The original articles did not state a type of dog nor the size of the dog. As the story jumped from one MSM to another the story morphed in order to create more interest. And what automatically increases readership? Pit Bulls. There is still no proof that it even happened in the airport and looking at the photos she uploaded there are numerous inconsistencies with the bite.
As to the bag (soft case version of a animal crate), it has existed for decades longer than ESA's have been on airplane cabins w/o it.
You can tell from the size of the bruise in the photo that it was a bigger dog. I doubt it was a pit bull, that's just the breed to name when you want media attention. And of course it worked.
I don't doubt that the bag has been around for awhile, its just not something that every dog owner would own or even know about. I've never heard of a sherpa bag until now, and I have years of experience working with dogs. Its just not something I've ever needed, nor have I known anyone else who has needed one. I had a soft sided crate for my dog when I took her on an airplane years ago, but it wasn't a sherpa bag. It was just a typical travel carrier.
Do YOUR research. That website has an extreme bias.
