An Uber driver was driving a Dallas prosecutor home from a bar when he claims the woman got angry at him for getting lost, physically and verbally attacked him, and then accused him of kidnapping her.
Shaun Platt, 26, recorded a portion of his interaction with Dallas County Assistant District Attorney Jody Warner, who can be hurling expletives at the driver, repeatedly calling him 'an idiot,' and demanding that he take her home, despite his pleas that she get out of the car.
The District Attorney’s Office sent a statement to DailyMail.com Monday evening announcing Warner's termination.
Really makes you wonder how such awful people manage to get to such a position in the first place
We've all said stupid chit when we've had a little too much to drink. The Uber guy should have just let it go.
If she hit him, she should be thankful she isn't in jail. I wonder how many people she has prosecuted for doing similar stuff, regardless of whether they were intoxicated.
She behaved badly. On the other hand I can see where she wasn't happy about a driver getting a 26 year old woman lost and demanding that she get out of the car in an area where she didn't know where she was.
Dont Uber drivers use gps? How did this guy get so lost?
Looking at the story, the real problem is that she states she was an ADA and threatened him with charges if he didn't continue to take her home.
The driver was 26, the passenger was in her 30s. He asked her to exit the vehicle after she started to hit and scream, according to him. I think that is uber policy.

"and things only got worse after the passenger told him to follow a route that was different from the GPS directions, which caused him to get lost."
I'd have kicked her out, too. Found her another uber, taxi or something. There's no way I'd put up with being verbally attacked and even slapped by someone I was just trying to get home. And since it was an Uber it was likely his personal car.
Drunk on not, no excuse for her behavior. Her boss said it perfectly, "As public servants, we represent the people of Dallas County and are examples of justice, professionalism, and ethical behavior both inside and outside of the courtroom."
