I don't find staples, bolts, pins and rings inserted as face jewelry at all attractive.

With the exception of pierced ears and by that I mean one pierce per ear.

Women and men with the facial studs etc remind me of what I used to see in the National Geographic magazines.

Enough damage from facial piercings but it is unimaginable for me to imagine anyone foolish enough to pierce their own eye.

Exactly my thoughts!

This falls under the category of "what did you expect to happen when you did this?"

I was thinking the same thing. The article didn't say who she worked for or what kind of modeling she'd done in the past. It seems highly unlikely that a serious professional model would get a tattoo on her eye. Perhaps she modeled for motorcycle magazines? Who knows.

Sympathetic or not, what kind of society has evolved in which young people, the majority of them either female or raised in single-parent, presumably-female-headed households, can muster so little self-esteem, and/or skepticism toward the cultures of narcissism and mindless conformity peddled by Hollywood and Madison Avenue? They deserve better!
If you actually read the thread about this girl, you’d see she is quite normal looking and makes herself “scary” looking with makeup and special effects prosthetics.

Yeah. A new magazine was just introduced, "The World of Stupidity". She was there newest model. Now that she's done this she will be the top model for them. Hell of a way to move up in the ranks.

Two geniuses at work. Can't say I have much sympathy. Stupid is as stupid does comes to mind.
