I thought you said your son was 9? What should he do? You as a parent can start by informing him of how the laws may effect him. The point was never 'boys against girls' it was illogical laws that need to be re-worded.
I'm speaking of the future. He's 9 now but will be 14 someday. I'm worried about girls sending him nude pics and then him getting in trouble for simply and looking at what is sent to him. I don't know how to teach my son to be a gentleman when women around him are not being ladies. There are plenty of people who would blame the boy in that situation, even though he was simply sent something that he never requested in the first place.
She may have done something not well thought out. Something that could, and did, have negative consequences, but there is nothing inherently wrong about sending a picture of yourself to someone.
The boy, who distributed the photo, HE did something wrong
This is how the coddling of women starts. She cant be held responsible but he should? Do women want to be equal or treated as lesser? I will never understand people who think like this.

I agree with this. I'm tired of how women are coddled in society, even when they do things wrong. If women want equal rights, they must accept equal consequences for their actions, too.

Simply remove any such charges for stuff within the peer group...say a 4 year span for peerhood.

You're thinking of it wrong. Here's how I interpreted it: sending someone a nude photo (whether you are male or female) is ok. Distributing the photo without their permission (whether you are male or female) is not.

And the crowd goes wild!
