Almost all the pathologies involving teens, allegedly because of their brains not fully developed, are very rare among teens with agendas, including early parenthood, truancy, violence and eating of laundry pods and goldfish.

Again, I agree completely.

In my high school, in a high-achievement area, one girl (that I know of) got pregnant; by a candidate for class president. He lost the election; she got an abortion. Both went on to Ivy League or similar-quality schools. Notable was that the male student's parents had gone through multiple divorces and remarriages, again quite rare in my area.

Seems as though vaccines also damaged students' ability to write their own language...or at least proofread it.

Good parenting and goals definitely mitigate the incidence of these things.

If you remember that you must be 120...that was a fad in the Roaring 20's...

Making them colorless (like your brand) would be a step in the right direction. Raising children is difficult enough without tricked-out consumer goods creating more opportunities for bad things to happen.
I’ve also used Purcell pods. They are scored in three sections with each a different color. There is a reason besides it’s pretty. Each section has a different use. One color is the detergent, one is fabric softener the last is all purpose bleach. They really don’t have to have the colors, each section is released during the wash by the pod itself cycle so it’s not like anyone needs to know which ingredient is in which color. But that’s the reason for the colors at least in that product anyway. I haven’t used any of the other brands that use colors so I don’t know if they use colors to identify their purpose or just to make the pods look attractive.

So I agree they don’t have to be pretty to be functional. But I like to believe they were invented with the idea of function more than frivolity.

I’ll bet you lunch some kid dies and the parents sue because there is no warning label on the actual packet as to do not ingest
