You know it was only a hamster and they only live a few years, but it really angered me that she had no value on the life of the poor little animal. Yes she could have easily not flown, given it away, or as bad as it sounds, turned it loose. If the airport people caught it I don't think they would have killed it.
So here's an innocent animal that supposedly makes her life better and this is the reward it gets?
I'll say one thing, any employer or even college that sees what she did is going to probably turn her away.
That's odd, my husband told me the airline personnel had flushed it on the plane, and the airline had given her a new hamster. Either there were two hamster incidents, or one of us (hubby or me) must have misunderstood.
This whole emotional pet business has gotten way out of hand. Society is getting nuttier by the day.
