Nothing to do with dreaming or not, those two are just idiots.
They have only $90 to their name? Exactly what did they expect to do in the boat with only $90?
Back in the day, the adventure bloggers had a PayPal tip jar on their blog. And of course as someone already mentioned, there's GoFundMe. These days there's Patreon. (I just signed up to support a free speech site.)
It probably looks like unlimited free money to some people.
God, some of folks here are hopelessly boring!
Sit in your couch with your TV, and chips, and soda, grow you love handles and never dream, your dreaming organ failed to develop while still in the womb.
Good they are young, they will maybe try again.
A boneheaded move by a couple of poorly prepared and overly optimistic Millennials does not equal a lack of imagination or daring on anyone's part.
That's like Bernie Sanders saying that children are starving because there are dozens of antiperspirants on the market.
So they think working for their money is beneath them but begging for it isn’t?
I’ve contributed to Go Fund Me accounts for people really in need but never for people like these who just want to use it to mooch off others as the result of their own foolish behavior. Like it or not, they should work and save for their next adventure.
??? insurance covers things like that... unless they thought they could get by without it
"Hello, Mr. Maritime insurer. We'd like to inquire about a policy for a 45-year old boat that we spent $5K to restore, and intend to sail off-shore... No, we don't have a recent survey... Crew qualifications? We thought we'd kinda learn as we went along... As for premiums, we had imagined something in the $90 range. Hello? Hello??"
Insurance? No? They only really had 10k wrapped up in this little adventure. And they are young. I think they will bounce back...if they can stop making stupid decisions.
"Neither Broadwell nor Walsh had any boating experience, but that didn't stop them from buying the 49-year-old vessel from Alabama, last April."
Damn they sound worse then Jennifer Appel and Tasha Fuiava.
“We want to show people there is another way to live other than paying rent and working a 9 - 5.” 😂
Like having other people pay for your “another way.” They are so arrogant, thinking that they are the enlightened ones who are going to enlighten others.

Yeah whatever.
The dog has a dream too, and it probably involves getting the hell away from these people.
