Carbon neutral, and cheaper then oil. The future is coming, but this will have massive impacts on our economy, and is just the start.

Why do I have the feeling like those that came up with this, will eventually be found 'suicided'?

If that doesnt shut it down, Invention Secrecy Act can be used, since the fuel would be such a threat to the existing gas and oil industry. Its things like this, that the ISA of 1951 was designed and created for.

If you read the entire article you would realize the headline was just an attention grabber. Science like this is decades away from commercial use, so much so that it might just coincide with our depletion of carbon based fuels, which is also decades away, and so would be a welcome invention.

Thumbs up Early replicator built in lab is making fuel expected to be less then the cost of oil

Very interesting.

Could be a real breakthrough if they can scale it up economically.

If you go to their website or spend some time you will find that they have deployed these for a desalination plant already with a pilot plant in the UAE last year. Yes the headline is a attention grabber-but the underlying tech has been demonstrated doing desalination.

Because you're the type of person who eats up that sort of nonsense.

You believe in the miracle carburetor, don't you?

Miracle-carburetor legend still gets mileage

But what an attention grabber. Imagine if you could create food with this.
