Talk to any kid who plays any sport and they will rattle off who they idolize in that sport. How do you think that came to be? By watching the sport as well as playing it.

It was a hard a lot of times to find American athletes because of a lack of USA on their uniforms.

It was like they were competing for themselves and not their country.

I always want to see our athletes do well, but with all the other options vying for people's attention nowadays I don't think the Olympics are the draw that they once were.
