Yes it's "pretty" important! I don't think my wife would attack me, but I wouldn't blame her if she did. Guy's, don't forget your anniversary! It's just one thing you have to do....

It's curious that he knew ahead of time to record her reaction to his arriving home with a rose and a promise to take her away for the weekend.

No kidding. The guy forgot an important event, but she made it way more of an offense than it really was. But I have a feeling that he was aware of her lack of anger management, and knew what was coming. Nothing in a marriage/relationship justifies physical abuse. If I were this guy, I would be cutting my losses, and hiring a good divorce lawyer. He'll be better off in the long run.

Back in the day when survival is the only thing that matter, anniversary would be near the bottom list if not completely abandoned. These day people expect a lot more, and that's the problem. What is so important about anniversary day? When you guys first started dating, there's no anniversary day of the day you met. People just make up meaning of some event and hold that person responsible. What kind of world are we living in these days. Is all about object and money. Is sad to see the world we live in. Smh...

So.....excusing/making allowances for female on male violence being ok over forgetting an anniversary or other petty reasons, huh? Double standard still alive & well I see.
