I will never understand people

An 8 yr old was able to load a rifle and shoot his 4 yr old sister multiple times, but no life-threatening injuries? Especially after being left alone? Good thing he had bad aim, the poor girl could have been killed.

You know, I often want to give the benefit of the doubt to the parents of "messed up kids" -- but in THIS case, I think it is a very safe assumption to blame the mom for her obviously-needs-help son. I can't imagine any job -- no matter how badly money is needed -- justifying her actions.

I do fear for the future of BOTH the kids.

Now that they'll get taken away their future may have improved odds.

Oh, they're just good law abiding gun owners who think that it's never too early for their 8 year old to have unfettered access to guns and ammunition. Second Amendment! Yay! No restrictions on access to guns, right?
