I loved his creations.

Artist Steve Ditko, who co-created Spider-Man and Doctor Strange with Stan Lee, has died at age 90.

Very sad. He was a great and original comics artist whose legacy still lingers, as in some of the effects in the Doctor Strange movie.

Not unexpected given his age, but sad nonetheless. It’s the end of an era.

The greats are all leaving us. Steve Ditko and Jack Kirby. I think John Romita may be the last one. Ditko was brilliant. Their drawing made my childhood. I remember running down to the variety store to pick up the latest editions of the Marvel comics. I often looked at the artist and if it was Steve, I knew I was in for a treat.

I also enjoyed the non-serial comics like Strange Tales, Journey into Mystery and others. I believe Steve drew those as well.

These people were true artists in every way. RIP in Steve. You brought joy to countless children...and adults.

Indeed those cats did some fantastic works back in the day.
