I for one am completely fed up with this notion that hate crimes are some sort of 'attack whitey!' mechanism where non-whites are allowed to skate.

It is true that Asians get charged with hate crimes at a lesser per capita than do whites (it's also true that blacks get charged with hate crimes at a higher per capita rate than do either Asians or whites, but I won't hold my breath waiting for someone to complain about that). But a look at FBI data also shows that Asians are charged with fewer crimes of all sorts than other races - rape, robbery, murder, etc.

So either there's some vast conspiracy all across the country to let Asians get away with crime in general, or Asians tend to commit less crime. Obviously, it's the latter.

But feel free to post any evidence you have that Asians are specifically being allowed to commit hate crimes and not be charged accordingly. Well?

That doesn’t make sense. Hate crimes are defined by targeting someone due to race/religion, it doesn’t matter at all what the race of the offender is. If s light skin black man targets a dark skin black man saying he hates dark skin black men than it’s a hate crime.

Now if the guy didn’t really poison him for being black, but wrote the graffiti to fool the cops, then it’s not a hate crime. Motive is the defining feature that makes it a hate crime or not.
