I don't think you understood why they asked that. You are confusing people with 2 links

Glad she was caught. Can't imagine HAVING to get your nails done is so important that you would not only be a thief and not pay your bill, but then also commit murder by running over the nail salon worker. This lady needs to get her priorities in life straight.

Admittedly, this is an extreme case, but it demonstrates the ultimate bitter fruit of a mentality of instant gratification, and an overbuilt, credit-based economy -- sold mostly to mental midgets who just don't get it.

I'm not calling for "debtors' prison" and the like, but the problem is similar to drunken/distracted driving and drug abuse in that it has to be addressed early, and firmly, as in a "lost weekend" at the county jail, on the first offense.

I wonder why she didn't just do her own freaking nails?

She will spend about 5 years in jail then a certain group will petition & say she had a rough childhood and should be given a 2nd chance.

I agree, especially when all she had to do was get the woman's plate and call the cops.

She certainly will now....and it will be surviving in prison.

Well, they've got her identity from the cameras and presumably ran her license plate. Only a matter of time before she will be rotting in prison, hopefully for a long time.

She ran the owner over, drove off, and attempted to evade capture. She's a POS.
