So.... what's the problem? If you offer Christian pastors/priests to Christians, shouldn't you offer an imam for Muslims? If you can't, or won't, then you shouldn't offer anything to anyone.

It appears the issue is they are employed as correction officers to begin with, it's not someone walking in off the street.

The Imam is regularly at the prison and has passed security clearance.
Let the prisoner have his Imam and execute the rapist murderer. Dragging this out in court just costs the state more money.
