...who said they noticed issues with the tax return that she filed for them.
Houston tax firm owner Latunya Wright held up a gun during a heated argument with a client regarding tax filing fees on March 25.
Eyewitness News learned in 2012, Wright was sentenced to more than four years in federal prison for her part in a multi-million dollar heist at an ATM servicing company. She was one of the central figures behind a notorious $6.6 million St. Louis heist.
Years after completing her sentencing, Wright moved to Houston and opened MZBIZ Tax Services, which according to their website, offers accounting, credit repair and business planning services. https://abc13.com/latunya-wright-cau...prep/10450817/ https://www.washingtonpost.com/natio...-preparer-gun/
"MZBIZ"...yeah what do expect going to a business that screams trashy.
We won't enter any business that completely blocks its windows like MZBIZ does. Besides being trashy, it's just creepy.
We also pay close attention to how people dress and carry themselves. Contrary to popular belief in circles of the more liberal persuasion, it really does speak volumes about an individual's character. It isn't difficult to spot troublemakers a safe distance away unless you PC-purposely blind yourself to the blaring signals.
Dealing with the public is not easy. Especially not when you are doing something such as taxes, which people don't like anyhow. Of course it is not the right answer to pull a gun.
Tax preparers must be licenced in my state, which is a good thing.
I'm going to guess that this person attracted lower end clientele given her expertise.
