Two cat hoarders. 1 mentally deficient and his own paid care doesn't show up. The other, is media proficient and has free volunteers and donations pouring in.

Social Media...it pays to know it.

I was cleaning up after a hoarder and it is a real illness. This guy is bright and has a good job but he rammed a room full with beer cans. He stuffed so much in his fridge you had to force the door shut and for some unknown reason he has a bunch of old tube TV's and some are black and white.

The cleaning up job ended when the hoarder guy climbed a ladder to retrieve a end table out of the dumpster that could be bought at the Goodwill for 2 bucks fell and broke his back. The end table fell on the hoarder and broke, I feel bad for him he is in a lot of pain now. I hope he recovers soon you can make some pretty good money cleaning up after hoarders.

I don't understand why so many cats

Yes, you might rescue some, but those get spayed and neutered ASAP

You don't let them keep reproducing!!! He wasn't taking in new cats - he was just letting them keep having babies.

Not if you’re a hoarder. The defining characteristic of an animal hoarder is that they take in far more animals than they can care for properly (so they don’t all get spayed and neutered). Why would they do that? For the same reason other hoarders fill every room in their house up to the ceiling with useless junk.

Hoarding is a very strange mental illness. I don’t think it’s possible for a mentally-well person to completely understand it.
