Did you see the picture in the article? You can tell by his neck that this is a guy who works out. He would have a murderous advantage over a little 5-year old kid. What an awful incident.
He whined that he'd only had one slice of cheesecake, and got upset when he saw others eating it.
He told police that he "had a metal rod in his hand that would make punches more painful." And he has four other kids by this giirlfriend, who reportedly "often" told him that he "shouldn't hit the kids too hard."
it is so ironic for a father to kill his kid during fathers day celebrations.This is so sad.I feel so bad for the poor child.the father did not deserve the fathers day cake.

I know. It's awful that a father complained that he had "only one piece of his Father's Day cake" so he killed his child for eating more of it.
I agree! Why is it acceptable to hit a kid as long as it’s not too hard?
I never understood this thought process either. My family is constantly telling me I'm parenting wrong because I don't discipline/spank/hit my kids enough.
They keep saying if I don't strike my kids they will become spoiled. No other discipline besides hitting will work. They are very old school religious and have this idea about tough authoritarian parenting.
It's times like these you wish these animals were shipped off to Latin American prisons. They most definitely do NOT take kindly to those who commit violence against children.
Another person that had no business procreating. We need to offer $1 million to people to voluntary "fix" themselves so they don't have kids.
You could offer them a small fraction of that and most would take it.
