But she's just a kid, and I didn't take it that way. She's an American--she was born here, for crying out loud. I interpreted that comment more along the lines of There are too many temptations here [in the Land of Plenty.]
Why doesn't the ice cream have a breakable seal on it, which when broken means the product is no longer sellable.
As for the woman, police are now looking for her.
Well, you're not alone, as others have complained to the company about that since this video emerged. Blue Bell's response is that their ice cream "freezes to the lid" during packaging, which they say makes tampering apparent.
I think they'll be changing it to make tampering impossible in a store setting. But it's yet another reason to grab your items from the back or bottom of shelves and freezer sections--same thing in the produce area. Forget ice cream lickers. I've seen my share of toddlers grabbing jars, cans, and apples with their E.coli-hands to have made that a practice long ago.
She will get arrested, Al Sharpton will blame Blue Bell for not having tamper proof lids, Colin Kapernick will be outraged that this woman was only blamed because she was black, Harvard will admit her because she is underprivileged, City Data will lock the thread!
I bet you complain when others play the race card.
But I have seen something similar done in a grocery store where a man behind me in the checkout line was eating from a small package of cookies and then began to offer them to others. I figured he was hoping to get rid of "the evidence" before he got to the front of the line.
You can't shame this behavior. People who do this have no sense of shame.
Furthermore we've all been conditioned for four or five generations that shaming people isn't nice behavior. So now you have to call the police instead. Seems like the old way of handling things worked better and kept more people off the police records.
EWWWW...we don't know where her tongue has been before she decided to taste-test the Blue Bell...
Who ARE these people? WTH is happening with our society?
The cultural erosion continues...
