Not to mention she seemed put out that someone outed her 'private' video. Her priorities are soooo screwed up. I imagine that she'll teach her daughter that it's wrong to rat people out, but not mention a word about how wrong it is to act like a disgusting pig.
The weirdest thing here is, IMHO, that the mother thinks the big thing is whether this video was part of a "trend" or not.
MOM. THE BIG THING IS YOUR DAUGHTER LICKED A TONGUE DEPRESSOR AND PUT IT BACK IN THE CONTAINER AND YOU WERE FINE WITH THAT, even encouraging. Doesn't matter whether it's a trend or not.
Exactly. “Should I have posted it at all, and would I have if I knew about a “licking challenge”? Absolutely not … It wasn’t anything like it is being portrayed to be and I am sorry for offending anyone.”
She's sorry that she posted the video and for "offending". Not for contaminating medical equipment in a health care facility. But maybe her silly little angel is just too sweet to have any nasty germs.
These are the same people I encounter regularly behind the wheel--I won't say "driving" because that implies some awareness--and pushing shopping carts around markets.
I am wearing out the phrase, "How is it possible to be so stupid?"
This is a sad and almost unrecognizable world we're living in. I never in a million years would have even thought of doing something like that at age 10. I'm sure mom put her up to it.
Mom needs prison time. Hope she doesn't get away with a wrist slap, these children of the corn will eventually succeed in getting someone seriously sick.
Mental illness is contagious, it's spread electronically.

Not prison time. This is mild, compared to moms who leave their small children unattended overnight, or encourage them to beat up other children, or do drugs in their presence, etc.
She has more than one little child, and before this, it seems she was successfully raising them. The girl looks well-groomed, and they're in a regular doctor's office for some regular thing.
CPS "services". Very likely what she will be sentenced to. A Come to Jesus meeting with CPS, this is unacceptable, take these parenting classes and be on our watch for awhile.
I don't understand why they didn't charge/arrest the child as well.
She appeared to be old enough to understand what she was doing was wrong.
Think that child knows any better with a moron mom like that filming this? And nitwit mom's excuse was that she didn't know there was some "licking challenge" going on? That's it? Like if there's no licking challenge this is perfectly acceptable behavior. Kids can do some dumb things, usually behind their parents' backs. Mom was right there filming and thought it was entertaining. That's how this child is being raised.

A little jail time in addition to the above wouldn’t hurt.

Whether she was successfully raising her children or not is debatable given the stunt she pulled, but I agree coming under the auspices of CPS is probably what it will take to scare her back into a proper parenting mode.
