So the daughter licked the tongue depressor and stuck it back in the jar.

Mom video taped it and posted it to her friends on snap chat.

Claims she had no idea about all this licking stuff going on currently.

Charged with a felony.

Posted it to 20 of her friends but proclaims wide-eyed innocence about the challenge. Yeah, I can tell this is not a woman who spends her whole day on social media. She's too busy trying to bring peace to the Mideast.

The weirdest thing here is, IMHO, that the mother thinks the big thing is whether this video was part of a "trend" or not.

MOM. THE BIG THING IS YOUR DAUGHTER LICKED A TONGUE DEPRESSOR AND PUT IT BACK IN THE CONTAINER AND YOU WERE FINE WITH THAT, even encouraging. Doesn't matter whether it's a trend or not.

Women have been spitting in their abusive husband's coffee, food, toothbrush, etc., for years, and I can see this as an act of passive-aggressiveness, in some way satisfying, but to do this in the manner shown recently--to attack strangers, just seems like misguided anger or mean-spirited lack of morals. I just don't get it.

She also double taps the lid for good measure, what a sicko.

Throw them both in jail.

I'm surprised to see she was 30 years old. I figured she was around 25.

I wonder if she'll face any jail time like the article below? If not she should

You could face up to 20 years in prison for licking ice cream at the store and putting it back
Blue Bell says it pulled all half gallons of the Tin Roof flavor from a Lufkin Walmart out of precaution after someone tampered with one of the tubs.

A second-degree felony of tampering with a consumer product in Texas is punishable by up to 20 years in prison, but no less than two. There's also a possible fine of up to $10,000, according to police.

Mother of the year teaching her kid to have fun risking the health of others. Hopefully she'll pay a price for her mini quest for celebrity.

I don't understand why they didn't charge/arrest the child as well.

She appeared to be old enough to understand what she was doing was wrong.

I can't tell how old the child is.

To me, it's not shocking that a child age 10 or so would be immature enough to do that, thinking it was funny.

It's the mother, who otherwise looks normal, that's so surprising and disturbing.

I just expect more of the mother than I do the little girl.
