I have no desire to be a detective, but reading about these odd events, is fun , especailly when there was not any deaths. And also, when we might have traveled through the area in question. If you don't like a thread, there is no need to read it, follow it, or even post in it.

And who knows- at least one of the posters here could be a writer who finds inspiration in forums.

Just mentioning that for a friend.

Seems like people are trying to make more out of this story than there is. What's with the insults about how the husband looks? I dunno, I don't get this continued poking at a non-story with a happy conclusion. No matter how bad people want to make this into a mystery, there's nothing to see here.

Powell, an experienced hiker, said a "burly" man had confronted her while she was taking a bathroom break. According to Powell, the man said, "The first thing that's going to happen here, I'm going to use this knife on the dog, and then if you don't let me have my way with you, I'll use it on you."

OK, the good news here, is that LE is investigating the reported (by the family) presence of a predator in the area.
