The Phillies may have lost to the Dodgers, but this was a cute Philadelphia moment between two fans:

That’s awesome, most of the time you hear about adults snatching away balls from kids.

Taken out of the context, this can be misinterpreted in so many ways

What was the point for that kid to go after the ball if he was just going to give it away??

For many people the job is in the chasing not the having.

does there have to be a point?? that's why I love kids, they have fun just for the sake of having fun.

Chasing fly balls at teh stadium is fun, every thing does not have to be a death match contest

Update,
The Phillies saw the clip and made sure both kids got autographed balls (didn't say who autographed them though, lol)

There was another clip this morning, a father and little boy, both Astro's fans, watching them play the Angels, when the little boy caught a home run ball hit by one of the Astro's...then promptly stood up and tossed it back onto the field, lol. Dad looked shocked and disappointed. I hope the guy who hit the home run sees it and gives them a signed ball, too,

I didn't look at this clip until after I posted....I did not expect the kids to be older. Usually I picture little children when I think of the generosity of something like this...these kids look to be about 11 or 12, I think it's awesome that boy was so generous.

A small ray of hope for the future of humanity. Perhaps we're not a lost cause after all.
