I don't condone suing left and right but in this case I hope somebody pays dearly for this, be it a judge or the parole board or whomever was ultimately responsible.
Judges especially need to start being held accountable. Not for minor stuff that escalates but when they let a pervert peeing tom off light who then rapes the judge should face certain consequences, mayors who claim sanctuary for illegals who then commit more crimes should face the max sentence for each illegals crime. Since they are so law abbiding there shouldnt be anything to worry about.
I don't know why we even keep scum like that prick alive in the first place. If you're convicted of murder with irrefutable proof, it should be straight to the electric chair after serving one year in solitude to give them time to rot and think about what they've done. This judge who allowed him to go free should have to pay the family for his costly mistake. What a bonehead! And this murderer needs to die a slow, agonizing death via torture.

*SMH* Albert Flick is a walking menace to females. He's killed one previously (the wife), abused others, and yet still was allowed to walk out of prison and promptly began harassing then ultimately murdering yet another woman. This despite everyone in LE and prison system saying the man is a time bomb that would (not could) go off easily due to a hair trigger.
Sadly the judge to disregarded all this and let Albert Flick is no longer on bench (retired) so there isn't much (not that there was a chance anyway) of any professional action.
Wish there was a way for the estate of that poor dead mother to sue Maine, or at least her children doing so (or someone on their behalf), but that isn't possible.
