A Pennsylvania father fatally shot his daughter's boyfriend after finding out he smoked marijuana with her at a party, police say.

Michael D'Biagio, 41, was charged Friday with homicide and aggravated assault in connection to the death of 17-year-old Darren Jevcak.

Wow -- talk about an over-reaction!!

(I don't think his daughter will be sending him a Fathers Day card or visiting him in prison anytime soon.)

He looks completely insane. Sad, he takes this young man out, but the silver lining is that now that he'll be in prison the daughter has a shot at some normalcy.

And my guess is, the dad didn't shoot him for the marijuana thing, but rather, that was an excuse. This was a boyfriend of the daughter which enraged him. IMHO.

What is the silver lining for the victim and his family?

What a senseless ****ing tragedy. A child snuffed out at 17.

There isn't one. Horrible stories don't usually have multiple silver linings. That's what a silver lining is. The one positive on an otherwise tragic situation.

That's what I was thinking. What's the real reason he shot him?

Unstable people and their guns. SMH. Not only unstable but also not bright: now he'll never be able to protect his daughter since he'll be in prison.

There isn’t going to be any normalcy. She doesn’t have s dad, she lost her bc, and her and mom will probably lose their house once the legal bills start coming in for his defense, and the lawsuit the boys family brings.
