A flight attendant was charged with criminal public intoxication on Thursday after passengers aboard a United Express flight raised alarms and one tweeted a video appearing to show her slumped over in her seat.
Yikes! Bad enough that the pax were on a tiny CR2 or ERJ-145 (I think those are the only regional jets with less than 50 seats and therefore only require 1 F/A) and then that. Personally, I would just drive from Chicago to South Bend (or even take the NICTD train).
I Hate, hate, hate to fly. We drive when ever possible. We have had to many cancled , and delayed flights. All pilots, and even flight atteendant`s should through a breathalyzer. Such a scary thought that these people could be inpaired
I don't know how she did it, but I was with a SWA flight attendent who sat next to me on a non SWA flight and she had a bottle of wine in her purse and started drinking it.
My technique was to bring those little one ounce bottles of vodka on board - perfectly legal as long as they fit in your one quart zip lock. THen I'd order orange juice for free. You can figure the rest out.

Considering the mentality of more and more of the passengers these days I’m surprised all flight attendants aren’t drinking themselves into oblivion.
