I don't think shirtlessness is the same in men - women don't seem to find shirtless men as alluring as boys find shirtless women.
But. If there was a stepdaughter in the picture in her early teens, I think he should do what he could to not encourage sexual feelings and be sure to always treat her with respect and not flirtatiously.

If I was divorced, and my ex-husband's wife did that in front of my kids, I would be livid. In my opinion, she is the worst kind of narcissist.

narcissist, probably. still doesn't come close to justifying the threat of having to register as a sex offender for 10 years.
This is just crazy. What about families that shower with the kids all together? Theres lots of documentaries on youtube about that kind of parenting. Or what about women that still breastfeed their kids that are 5-6 years old??

Then again when such banal things as breasts are over-sexualized and sexuality repressed in general, the sight of some skin turns taboo and dirty.
That's exactly the point. I don't know if I'd use the term "dirty", but yes, sexual. Breasts in our society are very sexualized, in the way that ankles and shoulders used to be sexualized. So if they were bare it was tantalizing.
And therefore kind of questionable to show off to stepchildren. Sends the wrong message.

That's inappropriate in a completely different way. A woman who refuses to recognize a child is growing up.
And I think it's also uncomfortable for families to shower together, but would be especially leery of step parents showering with teenage stepchildren.

Yes, I do think that is extreme, and I also think it is a waste of taxpayer money to prosecute her. However, as I indicated, I would not let my kids be in her house. (But, as I indicated, that is just my personal viewpoint.)

I agree about this being in criminal courts with a sex offender status on the table. That'd overkill.
I do think, though, that this inappropriate behavior should be handled in the context of the CPS case that's ongoing, and decisions should be made as to her judgement as a caretaker of these children.
And yes, other parents would be a little hesitant to allow their children to go to that house, because you never quite know what she'll do that's out of the norm.
