At first, when I read that the father had boosted the 7 yr old through the window of the burning house, from the outside, to go in and get his 2 yr old sister out of her bedroom, and pass her out to father, I was appalled. When I read that the 7 yr old was a foster child, I was even more shocked. Then I read that they are ALL foster children - that the two youngest have been adopted, and that the couple have fostered some THIRTY FOUR children over the years.

Kid is a hero. What a "Sophie's Choice" situation, to send one child in after the other. They could have lost both. Thank God that both kids came back out.
