This was hilarious, I believe the raccoon came in through the doggy door. I would have just taken the entire tree outside. I wasn't sure where to post this, so hopefully I'm in the right area.

I would have also, and sound like he got a piece of the dog. This was all over social media and tv this week, I just finally took a look at it.

Yesterday I read an article of a woman that found a hawk living in her Christmas tree. Now another woman finds a raccoon. They keep this up and there will be enough Christmas tree findings to create a small zoo. 2020 is definitely a weird year and it appears it will remain weird all the way to the end. lol

My sister would have given the house to the raccoon, she would have been out of there, lol.

Twas the week before Christmas
With dawn coming soon
Not a creature was stirring
Except a raccoon

Both the dog and the cat
Could easily see
The little masked bandit
Inside the tree

The woman tried everything
To get him to leave
He finally left
But will return Christmas Eve.

That would be me, too. I once tried to save a mouse I caught in a garage bucket by driving it to the woods in a shoebox. While I was driving it chewed it's way out! I pulled over, jumped out of the car and slammed the door. Ummmm, now what???

A family in Scotland left their window open and a Sparrowhawk flew in and settled on their Christmas Tree.

They had to call Police and Animal Rescue Services to remove the bird from the tree.

If the dog wasn't in the room, the raccoon would try to escape. It's early morning, she could not think straight.
