I hate to say it, but in Los Angeles in 2021 you're probably right, although it may depend on what continent the Lamborghini driver's ancestors came from.

The DA who was elected in November 2020 is doing his best to tear down society one criminal case at a time.

I guess he's old enough to kill, but not for voting.

I can't find any sources to verify the 120. It seems to only be mentioned in UK tabloids. I have a hard time believing he wouldn't have been arrested if he was really going 120. I wonder why there isn't more U.S. souces for the story?

I would never go that fast unless it's on a wide empty highway and even still I would not go that fast for long. Without a rollcage and helmet you can hit a pothole or rock and rollover.

Maybe 120 km? That would be 74 mph, not nearly as outrageous to read about.
But enough to kill someone.

Many receptionist jobs are barely above minimum wage. Interesting point about teen-age entertainers...

You can see how the woman was killed in this video. Her Lexus was totally destroyed. The idiot that caused this devastation has minor injuries.

Police won't release name yet. Friends and family want the driver/murderer prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

A Lamborghini ? Doesn't say if stolen, his parents or his own. The 17 year old is a murderer and should be treated/charged as an adult.
Manslaughter, maybe. Murder requires intent to kill, and unless he ran her over on purpose, it's not murder.

So? It can take days or weeks to charge someone with a crime, especially one like this that requires an investigation.

I thought the UK used miles per hour and not kilometers, but maybe the story was written by a reporter from a country that does use the latter. Driving 120 mph on a residential street, even a fairly wide one, does seem extreme and highly unusual, though.

But is entirely possible considering how quick supercars can accelerate.
