According to the news the killers did prior surveillance of her routine before grabbing her and drugging her into the woods while she was on her usual daily walk

Developed brain or not, the victim is dead, and will remain dead, no matter how long the murderer lives.

Or at least jail for life with no possibility of parole. I still believe thou shall not kill, but man it is hard to not want them off the face of the earth.

It's a shame Iowa's not a death penalty state.

Its been held to be unconstitutional to impose the death penalty on anyone younger than 18 at the time they commit a crime.

I'd hate to think that being a Spanish language teacher caused this odious crime, but it wouldn't surprise me one bit. It's the hate-filled world we live in. Go figure.

As for the accused 16-year-old lads, may the sentence fit their crime if found guilty. Imagine being no more than 16 and spending a large portion (or entirety) of life in prison. No family gatherings, baseball games, parties, girl and guy friends, etc. May they receive their just deserves.
