And this is why most teens are tried as juveniles. Those laws are there for a reason, obviously a 16 year old does not have a fully developed brain. But like most everyone I'm glad they are being tried as adults, seeing them walk after only a few years would be a terrible injustice. But then again they have these laws for a reason as I stated.
Developed brain or not, the victim is dead, and will remain dead, no matter how long the murderer lives.
There is no rehabilitation here. Execution for sure.
Or at least jail for life with no possibility of parole. I still believe thou shall not kill, but man it is hard to not want them off the face of the earth.
I'd hate to think that being a Spanish language teacher caused this odious crime, but it wouldn't surprise me one bit. It's the hate-filled world we live in. Go figure.
As for the accused 16-year-old lads, may the sentence fit their crime if found guilty. Imagine being no more than 16 and spending a large portion (or entirety) of life in prison. No family gatherings, baseball games, parties, girl and guy friends, etc. May they receive their just deserves.
