For these types of murderer, when proved beyond shadow of doubt, I am all for a quick dispatching. Don't waste taxpayer funds on prison industrial complex. Go directly to "Jesus" for judgment and reclamation in another realm.
Where else in the universe are you going?
Do you have a particular planet in mind.
Did I say anything about going somewhere? I was stating a fact. Of course there’s beautiful people in the universe. But there just as many devils. I’m simply pointing out facts.
part of me says give them 20 years then fry them in electric chair after 20 years
I vote yes on death penalty. It’s not an easy choice. I don’t think it deters crime. God says vengeance is mine. But I still vote for the death penalty. So be it.
They are being tried as adults and probably will never see the day of light again. Let's hope they are made examples of as the world just doesn't need such people roaming around.
I agree. Automatic life sentence. It’s one thing if you were that young and you accidentally are in a scuffle or in a tussle and somebody gets killed as an accident, But premeditated horrific murder of a pillar of the community, being this teacher, should definitely result in mandatory life sentence without the possibility of parole.

But they do. Death row inmates remain on death row in their own cells with tvs enjoying life for decades

I doubt it deters crime either, but dead offenders don't re-offend
My 9th grade classmates targeted teachers for beatings and rape with glee. Decades later my daughter’s 9th grade classmate killed his parents and then showed up for the homecoming dance. He got 30 years with a possibility of parole. Far too lenient. https://abcnews.go.com/GMA/LegalCenter/story?id=1205508
These who killed teacher should be tried as adults. Disgusting.
Kid in Danvers, MA abducted/raped his teacher and then went to the movies (Phil Chism was his name). Got life but a chance of parole in 40 years. School video shows him carting her body off in a recycling bin towards the woods, he videoed the rape/murder on his phone and kept her underwear as a souvenir. Police arrested him walking home from the movies, he still had the underwear.
40 yrs in the maximum prison system isn't going to produce a well balanced individual ready to merge back into society. Some folks cannot be "fixed" they simply need to be locked away from society. Kid had anger issues, parents were aware of outbursts.
These Iowa kids didn't act on the spur of the moment, it was premeditated. No idea why they decided to end a teachers life, after all this was high school! Take the class again, take the F whatever and move on.
Iowa kids need to be locked away forever.
