I think both attacks were on the same day - last Thursday.
A 70 year old nurse was struck in the face causing her to fall to the ground fracturing her skill. A 24 year old woman was stabbed to death inside a store. Both attacks were done by cowardly homeless pieces of human scum.
Police have the name of the suspect who murdered the UCLA student who was working alone in the furniture store. The suspect's name is Shawn Laval Smith. He is still on the loose.
Police say Kupfer was the only employee at Croft House on La Brea Avenue when someone came into the store last Thursday afternoon and fatally stabbed her. CBS Los Angeles reports that on Tuesday night, police identified the suspect as Shawn Laval Smith. He is still at large and is considered armed and dangerous.
They arrested him. Just awful. She was a beautiful young woman. And so was the Asian woman in NY who was
killed when a psycho shoved her in front of a train.

Good to hear. I'm so sorry that she lost her life to that monster. I wish the worst possible fate for that scumbag.
Society is way more violent. People need to start arming themselves. Gun/knife, pepper spray, hell a billiard ball in a thick sock will do. For those who will argue this saying a weapon can be taken away, if someone is attacking you esp with a weapon themselves the situation cant be made any worse at that point by having something.
Sad its come to this but people are being victimized and the predators have no fear and little to lose.
